Refund Policy

14 days

A section is a digital file. It is delivered in your library as soon as the order is paid, and you can copy or download it immediately. If the file does not work as described, or you cannot install it in an Online Store 2.0 theme, you may ask for a refund within 14 days of payment.

“Does not work as described” means the installed section lacks a feature the catalog page stated, or it fails Shopify theme checks for a reason in the file. A preview that uses sample products, while your own catalog is empty, is not by itself a defect.

How to ask

Open the receipt under Orders and send a refund request there. That form is the after-sales ticket: pick “A refund”, say whether the file was not as described or could not be installed, and include what you saw. You can reply on the same receipt. If you cannot sign in, email support@dotsection.com with the receipt id.

Orders

If we approve it

We revoke the license for that order, so the file leaves the library. Live payments are returned by Creem, the merchant of record. Test payments are returned by Stripe. A demo order was never charged; we only mark it refunded. The payment provider can take several days to show the money on the original payment method.

Change of mind

We do not refund a change of mind after the Liquid source was copied or downloaded, unless a law that applies to you requires that refund. Asking within 14 days because the file cannot be installed, or because it is not the section the catalog described, is not a change of mind. If the file is broken we would rather repair it; you can still ask for the refund in the same 14 days.

Free sections

A free section has no charge to return. You can remove it from use in your theme. Write to support@dotsection.com if you want the free license taken off the account.
